Your day is so different from anyone else's and I care a heck of a lot about telling that story. I'm a quiet observer and love letting the day unfold naturally. I'll be there to get all of the organic and quirky moments as they happen and I'll also be a calm presence throughout your day.
I'm all about capturing your day as it actually feels, so when you look back at these photos in 20 years, you will actually feel all of the emotions you did on that special day.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
After pursuing the music industry through drumming in multiple metal bands and marketing, I landed positions as a: University Communications Director, Multimedia Pastor, and Small Business Owner. Diving into the creative storytelling space has been the best career move I could have ever made.
As you may have guessed, I own the production company Raven Media House, but what you probably didn’t know is that we capture way more than weddings, and lifestyle stories. You are looking at the lifestyle side of our business currently, but head over and see some of our commercial work and documentary productions. My collaborators and I think you will love what you see!
I love to travel, and I am thankful to have a career that takes me all over the world. So far I have been to 40 States, 5 countries, and 3 continents. I have also lived everywhere from Parma, Michigan; Los Angeles, California; Ottawa, ON Canada, and now call Durham, North Carolina home.
You can find me outdoors, probably hiking with my dog, almost every day. Whether finding secluded trails around the Triangle, or heading to the mountains of Boone, NC, we are always up for an adventure.
My Australian Shepherd Oakley is my child, and you cannot tell me any differently!
My family and I are HUGE Michigan sports fans. University of Michigan, Go Blue; Detroit Lions, Red Wings, Tigers, and Pistons… We are die hard fans. You cannot take my Michigan roots away from me now that I live in the south.
I used to play competitive golf, and even won two tournaments. At a five handicap I still like to believe I’ve still got it.
How many of y’all are passionate about car culture? Electric vehicles are cool and all, but have you ever driven a Japanese sports car from the 90s? Absolute terrifying bliss.
I am an absolute coffee snob. You will always find me searching for the top rated coffee shop in every new city, making a latte at home, or brewing a quick cup on a trail.
Contrary to popular belief, a lot of photographers and filmmakers are not movie people. This is not me. Recommend a good independent film and I will gladly add it to the nightly watch list. 500 Days of Summer, Drive, Everything Everywhere All At Once, and A Ghost Story are just a few of my favorites.
